What is it?
The School Lunch Program provides free and reduced priced meals to children in public schools throughout New York City. What do you get? Students in New York City public schools can receive free or reduced priced meals, depending on your family size and income. All meals that are served meet nutrition guidelines that are set by the federal government. Meals are provided throughout the school year. How long do you get it? Once your application is approved, your child(ren) can receive free or reduced priced meals for the entire school year (September to June). Students must submit a new application every school year. |
