The American Association for Retired Persons (AARP) is a nonprofit, non partisan membership organization for people age 50 and over.
Membership costs less than $8 a year and includes benefits and discounts on things such as health and automobile insurance, advocacy and information, advice for living well, award-winning applications and community

Easter Seals New York promotes pathways to economic self-sufficiency for older
individuals through the Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP)
legislated under Title V of the Older Americans Act. SCSEP offers paid
internships to individuals who are 55 years of age and older, unemployed but
looking for work, and low income. SCSEP provides up to 20 hours a week of paid
training positions in the network of New York City's non profit community. It also
provides job training and related educational opportunities, which will lead to
