What is it?
Unemployment insurance is temporary income offered to workers who lost their job through no fault of their own and who are ready, willing, and able to go back to work. What do you get? If qualified, you will receive a direct payment card from Chase Bank. Each week, money will be credited to a bank account in your name at Chase Bank. The money deposited is roughly one half the amount you made in an average week while you were employed. The maximum weekly amount is $405. How long do you get it? Claims last for one year. During that year you may be compensated for up to 26 weeks of unemployment. |
